Actually, repair costs are 1/100th of the base ship value, so the repair costs for a brig would be 875 gold coins, while a SOTL would cost 7500 gold to repair with 100% damage. These repair costs do not scale with level. However, rarely is there a time where there is 100% damage, usually capped at 99%. In that case, the repair costs for a SOTL would be 7500*0.99=7425, always rounded up. I can't answer your question because i have no idea what the base value of a MOW is.

100% DMG is sunk, it is only possible to have 99% damage and still own the ship.
